mariokluser
I think Fiverr should go back to the thumbs up and down rating system.Years ago Google decided to put a halt on the five star ratings on Youtube and changed it to up and down votes. The guys over at Google/Youtube really know what they are doing.Last week Netflix also decided to ditch the five star rating system and change it to up and down voting. The Internet is the place of the short attention span and most of the time you go there to get something quick. Be it information or whatever. Changing the voting system on Fiverr back to what it was in the beginning (thumbs up and down) looks probably a little more superficial, but nothing is less true. There will actually go more thoughts into a vote than it is the case with the current system. It’s because now there are too many choices. This will take away some frustration by a lot of people. mgjohn78
Been discussed since first mention of the star system and most buyers and sellers preffered the old system. The thing is once you put allot of effort and time in to something its really hard to let go and i think thats the main reason why were still looking at the stars. wp_kid
I like the current System. Sometimes works are not done Perfectly as discussed. But those projects are still usable/acceptable by the client. For those project current Review system is perfect. Now the problem is in our Habit. We are desperate to get five stars. and there is a reason to be desperate. Ratings are effected quickly in Gig Rankings. (Both Positive and negative) . I suggest a different algorithm for gig ranking. Gig ranks should not update daily basis instead it can be updated in every week or in a certain period.
