Hello everyone! I have created recently my account in Fiverr, but I have only had _one orde_r 😫. Could you advise me? I have tried hard to explain my gigs well, I uploaded photos that illustrate what I offer and I have uploaded some video as well. What else can I do? I would be grateful if someone would advise me.

Share on social media, go to Buyer Request and offer your services there. Do this frequently and you will be good. Try also to check other Gigs that offer the same services as yours, to get an impression and understand how it works. While you don’t get any order, try improving your marketing, learn and most of all be patient. Some new sellers wait months until they get their first order. Keep in mind there are hundred of sellers with the same product, so be unique and never give up!
Work hard and you’ll be rewarded… but in the meantime… patience…

Your profile image: I recommend a color photo of your smiling face. Others may recommend you use a logo or a caricature to protect your privacy. No reputable person associated with Fiverr recommends that you ever lie about your location or attempt to deceive Buyers with misleading information. (I’m not saying you have, I’m just including this information for the benefit of anyone else who might read this post.) Your smile could be bigger and more welcoming.
Your one-line statement that appears on the profile page, directly below your user name: No suggestions.
Your profile text – note the edits:

I’m a native Spanish speaker from Barcelona (Spain). I have experience in Spanish language transcription. I offer you professional and reliable services. - Iria

You would be wise to hire a copy writer to make your text more compelling.

Your profile text calls out for text in English and Spanish, especially given that your transcription gig is for Spanish audio or video. How many English speakers want Spanish-language transcription? How many Spanish speakers? Are you offering translation?

All your gigs should have video, 3 images, 2 pdfs (for more samples and your business policies), and so on… Make a video of yourself talking to the camera, because this approach garners IMMEDIATE RESULTS.

I tried to watch your whiteboard explainer video. You would be wise to ditch this for a video of YOU. At the very list append an intro of you greeting the Buyer (you have 37 seconds of free time remaining).

Include additional samples in the video!

I can give you a better level of assistance if you first work your way through the checklist below. That way, I won’t waste your one turn by advising you to follow items on the checklist.

If you haven’t already read Strengths Finder 2.0 and taken that assessment, I suggest you do so, because it should give you the language to express your strengths and help you to brainstorm some gigs for which you are especially well qualified. Check out the writing of Chris Guillebeau and Tim Ferriss. By Josh Kaufman, I recommend The First 20 Hours: How to Learn Anything… Fast! and The Personal MBA. Also, you could read Influence by Robert Cialdini and Get Anyone to Do Anything by David J. Lieberman.
