Abusive client tries to get freebies by not paying then deletes his account and gives bad rating

Hi there - I’d like to keep it short. A client asks to do a job, I do the job, he then refuses to pay, gets me one star rating and deletes his account, and I find myself with the message: You are out of gigs. What do you suggest I do from this point anyone?

Thx beforehand for your answers!

A question I also ask myself is: can the staff help remove or reset that rating, and how or where can I ask the staff?

Hi there!

Firstly - can you please remove the buyer’s name from your post.

Your buyer can’t refuse to pay - the order is automatically marked as complete 3 days after you deliver, and you’ll have access to the payment to transfer to PayPal etc. 14 days after that.

You are out of gigs.

Not sure what this means TBH.

Thx for your reply. He gave me a one star rating on top of that and now I am stuck with not being able to send out new offers on fiverr because of the low star rating. Not too sure how to get out of that one …any ideas? 🙂

No - the one star rating was left automatically by the system, not your buyer.

How do I fix it, also knowing it took some time to get clear about the clients wishes? I also did change the days to 3 days delivery time, afterwards that is though, as an advice of fiverr, some time after I just started working with fiverr.

Do you have any suggestions on how to be able to get the rating up again on fiverr?

You will get paid for the job if you did it through an order, which I assume you did, as the system automatically left a review. In fact, you should see the payment in your account as it was a few weeks ago.

If you receive an order, you don’t need to ask the buyer to pay - they already have paid if you get an order - hope that makes sense. You may have confused the buyer, and he may have thought he was being asked to pay twice - I might close my account and run if a seller did that to me.

The only thing you can do is to ask customer services if they can remove your review.

My question to you is why are you moaning about this a full MONTH after this thing happened?

Where were you all this time?

It is a bit too late to take any action now.

P.S

In all reality, since you only had one order, and a rating of 4.75+ is detrimental for survival here on Fiverr, you may wish to delete this account and start a new one.
