How do you know that “the last Fiverr update” is to blame for you gaining fewer sales?

Please stop blaming Fiverr for your low sales. Fiverr is not at fault. It is not Fiverr’s job to make your gig successful. If you aren’t gaining the kind of sales that you want, than take responsibility for your own success, and market and promote your gig elsewhere (where your target customers are located). You have control over your gig. YOU can bring in your own customers as well.

There is no problem with sales as a result of any Fiverr update. No one is “suffering the same problem”. Some sellers are just assuming that Fiverr must have changed something, and it must be Fiverr’s fault that they suddenly “lost” sales. That’s not true, nor accurate. Sales rise and fall naturally – it has nothing to do with any updates Fiverr may have made to the site.

You have every ability to market and promote your gigs on your own, and by doing so, bring in your own sales, customers, or clients. It is not Fiverr’s responsibility to make you successful.

How do you know “it is not the last Fiverr update” that is responsible for his low sales?

Do you work with Fiverr or have stats about their sales?

You are just a seller/buyer same as him and can not tell categoricaly why his sales dropped. While it is of course not Fiverr’s duty to make his gigs successful, it is their duty to help drive traffic to his gig. Which is exactly what he is complaining about. Low traffic - Low Impressions - Low Sales.

Sales rise and drop randomly. This is caused by something and the Fiverr update might be one at least for him.

Hi,

Good quote @datwriterguy “Sales rise and drop randomly”

The number of orders depends on many factors, and many of them are beyond you, days off, competitors, …

I can get 30 orders a week and I think, wow! I’m on fire! But another week I only get 5 orders, I cannot think, Fiverr did something wrong in the last update, bla bla bla…

Which make me ask myself, are 30 orders a week a good number? In my case, yes

Keep pushing! 🙂

Actually, that’s not true. Fiverr is NOT responsible for a seller’s success, nor driving traffic to their gig. All Fiverr does is provide a place for freelance sellers to host and manage their services. Fiverr does provide a searchable catalog of freelance services, but they make no promise of any level of sales. It is a seller’s responsibility to manage, promote, and complete all promised sales voluntarily listed on their chosen gigs.
