Strange Occurrence - Buyer Missing Requirements

I received a few orders today… All except one provided the information without any trouble. Last order, it showed awaiting buyer’s information to get started… Then it switched to the timer counting down (Your buyer has filled out the requirements).

I’m like okay, coolio. Opened up the requirements; under each requirement box, it shows “No answer was provided for this requirement.”

Here’s the kicker all of my gig requirements are set to MANDATORY, so how did the buyer magically bypass this, without supplying me with the information?! Highly impossible, if the system is buggy 🐛.

Already, submitted a 📩 ticket to Customer Support.

Anyone else experiencing anything similar?

It has happened with me too once but i had to deliver it same day so i explained the buyer the issue and asked if he could please resubmit them on chat page and he was so nice to provide them again.
If you too have to deliver it in 24 hours then i would suggest to ask him to provide details again because support takes 13H to reply at least.

I’ve never had an issue before. Have you checked to see if it was indeed set as mandatory?

My poor 👁️ are bulging out at the moment LOL. Yes! I’ve checked and it’s set to mandatory, I had a buyer purchase the same gig earlier. 😕

@nikavoice

Don’t worry most genuine users are polite and they are very supportive as it will lead to better quality work.

You’re right… So far my buyers are sweet as cotton candy. 😇

Well then it’s clearly a glitch and support will definitely sort it out.

Right, it just slows the process. 😣

I had that too recently, one time, mandatory attachment wasn´t attached, but the order got through. I was lucky as I had the file anyway already from inbox conversation prior to the order, but it was a ‘huh?’ moment. Could be very inconvenient.

It was ‘just’ once, but most people do attach their files, I have mostly regular customers, so no way of knowing if it would have happened more often else.

What a doozy! 😄 I thought about setting gigs to 24 hours, but I really don’t want to take a chance. Cancelling orders because of a premature countdown is just nuts.

No headaches needed LOL.

Phew, the buyer just provided the information via the order page. ~so relieved~

Don’t do that mistake while you are new.

24 hours delivery is very good but if you have the slightest of doubt that you would not be able to deliver it then extend delivery time or else you will end up messing your profile.

Yeah! The 24 hours delivery is scary, considering the bugs. 🐝

idk but on the side where it says are you having trouble delivering this gig? you can request more info/more time.

Definitely, a backup plan if the issue happens again. But luckily the buyer already submitted the info, after I politely explained the situation.

Yes but it does harm the reputation before buyer as well as fiverr.

And why to take chances ? The buyer may reject it and cancel or leave a negative feedback.

I am not willing to take that risk.
