Recreate someone's design?

Is it illegal to redraw someone’s design? Not copy pasting, but redrawing it? is it considered plagiarism?

I don’t think so… I think as long as you start from scratch you will be ok.

If you draw the Nike logo from scratch, it’s still trademark infringement. If you don’t put your own spin on it, it’s plagiarism.

You can draw a logo from scratch but you need to adjust somehow so it’s not the exact same one. Like rachelbostwick said, you have to put your own spin on it.

Get creative with that logo and you should be fine. 🙂
