Buying gigs for online concert

Recommended Posts

I am organizing an online concert. I need singers to perform live with a webcam and quality microphone. The singers can perform with an acoustic guitar, karaoke, music overlay, and/or piano. Each singer will perform a 30 minute set. The more artists, the better.

The purpose of the online concert is to raise money for a school in need of laptops. While singers are performing the online community will be encouraged to donate.

Genres can range from A to Z, but the lyrics can not contain offensive language. I am willing to buy gigs to help make this concert a reality.

Please comment if you a singing gig for sale and the fiverr link. Thanks!

And if this ends up as a streaming event, maybe you could even sell access to the event link as a Fiverr gig. Or even try to raise $500 on one of the major crowd funding sites to cover your productions costs, then you’ll have a cushion for operational costs and maybe even some left over to donate to the charity. (And give those donors the link as a thank you gift, too.)

It’s a neat idea and a lovely cause, @ideator, though I did have two thoughts.

  1. 30 minutes is a long time to perform, especially if only one gig is involved. If you are thinking about more, I would say so and you might get more response. It also is a lot of material to prepare.

  2. There are potentially a lot of tech issues with a live streaming concert - not just on your end, but on theirs. Music, microphone, camera, etc. You might want to get recorded music instead, though I know that is less cool.

I do singing gigs myself, www.fiverr.com/ruanna3, and would be happy to discuss it further with you.

Several of the voiceover artists on Fiverr mention poetry reading as one of their options. That might come in handy as short filler segments, and might lend itself to pre-recording on video. Copyright issues could scuttle this unless they do original work or leagal public domain poetry. And it might be harder to “market” a mixed concert of music and poetry if you are charging for it.
