Source File "TYPE" for Buyers

Have been on fiverr for over a year now and can say it has been quiet and experience in a good way. Have been having some issues with clients on the kind of Source file requested by my buyers.

Are sellers obliged to deliver whatever source file type requested by buyers that is outside for example Software used by seller. For eg. I use Adobe Indesign but buyer requested for source file in Corel Draw format.

You should make it clear by writing on your gig descriptions EXACTLY what source file types you provide by DEFAULT.

Also you can mention any other formats are available as a gig extra, but that is your choice.

Good Luck. 👍

That was quick. Appreciate the response will sure do that. thanks

Hell I never provide any source files, my buyers pay for the final output and source files aren’t part of that.
@djgodknows could you send me the recipe of how you cook em. I tried to eat some raw but didn’t like the taste.

On your gig file formats available did you tick corel draw? If so they have a write to want it from that format. However you should communicate with them about the software that you are using so that they ar fully aware of the source file they arw going to get. I had a similar situation i did business cards for a client and his printer company told him they want cdr file. I never used Corel draw before so i had to install it and convert the file into cdr.
